Abstract

|
2-Hydroxy-5-(3-phenethylthiocarbamoyloxypentyl)benzoic acid methyl ester (2) was designed, synthesized and evaluated as a vanilloid receptor antagonist. Compound 2 did not show an antagonist activity up to 30 μM concentration in 45Ca1’ -influx assay.
